I was looking for a reliable, easy-to-drive car, available at a good price second-hand. The Almera meets those criteria brilliantly. It's fast and easy to drive, with very secure and predictable handling, and no vices. The brakes are powerful but progressive. The interior is roomy and the seats are comfortable: firm, but supportive.
The Nissan Almera Tino is a good used car buy for comfort and reliability but is not cheap to run by today's standards and my next car will have lower Tax, Insurance and fuel costs taken into consideration.
The 2014 Nissan Altima is more affordable than other midsize cars, with a price range of $11,929 to $16,938, depending on the mileage and model. When new, the price range was $22,170 to $30,820. Meanwhile, the most expensive Nissan car for sale is Nissan Almera -- Primera's baby brother; go for the 1.8 and it's a quick reliable and cheap car. Underrated. Citroen Xsara -- there are some unreliable examples, but generally a decent car. Much better than the Megane. Good ride quality. Kia Magentis -- hey if you're going to look at Accents I may as well throw a sideball in! The surprising winner here is the Nissan Almera, which managed to return an average fuel consumption figure of 5.8-litre/100 km – not too far from Nissan’s claimed figures. So there you have it, three of the newest non-national B-segment sedans and their respective real-world fuel consumption figures and the Nissan Almera reigns supreme Like the majority of Japanese manufacturers, Nissan has a solid reputation for dependability. Therefore, a used Almera should have no trouble running. Essentially, all you need to check is that the necessary recall work has been done.
