I upgraded my f30 hifi and love it. EVERYTHING is plug'n'play. I think they now make subs and amps as well. This is probably a simpler option. It might even outperform the HK system. I know the treble in my car is much better. BMW really went down hill on speakers from the e90 to f30 IMO. 2014 328d xDrive.

Well I have a set of Harman kardon speakers from a 328i not sure the yet but it is e46 body style. And I am wondering if I can put them in my 2003 325i since mine doesn't come with them 04-21-2013, 02:12 PM #2

A) Get a head unit with balanced 6V RCA preamp outputs, and use those to drive the stock amp. B) Get any head unit with RCA outputs, get a balanced line driver (or two if it's a 2CH unit) with a 6V+ output, and put it between the head unit and amp, or. C) use a device like the PAC SOEM-4 to attenuate the speaker-level outputs of the head unit
