Hey, returning to this awesome game. Iirc there is a max speed limiter for trucks in this game, but I forgot which mod works best to remove it. Not looking to make vehicles any faster than they naturally are, just want to make it so vehicles aren't artificially governed if that makes any sense? On Route XX (not giving it away exactly where I am) I was traveling along, 60mph speed limit 2-lane country highway. Had to drive 2 hours, in-between is a bunch of these small farm towns between 200-1000 people. Every single one of them there is a 30-35mph speed limit sign at both ends. Problem is the highway goes through the middle of these towns.

There you can bind a key for "Activating cruisecontrol" "Cruisecontrol up" "Cruisecontrol down" and "Reset cruisecontrol". Bind some keys you find it easy to work with. In the gameplay tab, you can set how much speed your cruisecontrol will go up or down every time you press the key, you can choose between 1km/h, 2km/h and 5km/h per step. #2. If you are referring to speed limits in general, there is an option to disable fines. Showing 1 - 2 of 2 comments The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
For the rest of the game if you want to be speed racer, go into the game options and uncheck the "Speed Limiter" box. #1. Beluga_XL Nov 5, 2019 @ 2:20pm. Originally posted by TwinShadow 【倩狐】: If you're running World of Trucks contracts, forget it. It is mandatory for those.

The general speed limit for rural roads in EU Member States is mostly 80 or 90 km/h and for urban roads 50 km/h. In most countries speed limits that differ from these general limits are applied. Widespread and well known are the 30 km/h zones in residential areas. In Germany, where there is no general speed limit for motorways, many sections of
- I have tried to place them in the various new folders I have made, and here in my last attempt, to be sure of my theory of misplacing the files, I have placed copies of the 2 .sii files in the folders: C: \ Users \ brian \ Documents \ Euro Truck Simulator 2 \ mod C: \ Users \ brian \ Documents \ Euro Truck Simulator 2 \ mod \ photo_camera
Press C. Then take your foot off the pedal. It is important that you do not move the pedal after you have pressed C, that will remove it again. I guess it is this you do. If you don't, perhaps it is something with your controlconfiguration. #1. Smoofey Feb 4, 2013 @ 9:09am. Also, pressing on the breaks will cancel the cruise control too ^^. #2.
Police spawn randomly, there's no trigger that causes them to spawn more often. As for avoiding tickets, keep an eye out for road signs. Speed changes are always marked, just remember that truck limits aren't always the same as car limits. I am very confident that they spawn whenever you speed.
It is a setting in the "gameplay" category, should be called "speed limiter" or something similar. If it is off, you can go as fast as your gearbox'es highest gear allows. #2. If you are doing external contract than you can’t go upto 90km/h if you are doing freight jons than rurn off trck speed limiter in gameplay -choose whether your truck is speed limited to 90km/h You'll have to search a bit but it's definitely there. Alright I'll look into this, at the moment I have truck limiter off, car limit on, random events full, and in my 30-40 hours of playtime, I crashed less than 10 times, so control on speed isn't a problem.

That file has a line: "truck_speed_limit:" where you can set a top speed value you like, which I believe will be acted upon by the truck speed limiter. The file is in the ETS2 DEF file folder in your ETS2 main directory. Copy it to a folder in your desktop, download the SCS Extractor application and move it into the folder with the ETS2 DEF
