Gamers and gearheads all over the world love tuning in to the top-of-the-line Forza Horizon games to race and compete in the world's best cars against others online. The latest Horizon game was Forza Horizon 5, which came out in November 2021. An immediate and massive success, Horizon 5 continues to boast a massive player base even today.
The visuals, the amazing skybox, and the great music in the game in combination with the big and diverse map hooked me up immediately. I’m not saying that Forza Horizon 4 is bad. It is a fairly good arcade-style racing game that would please many players of all ages. However, some downsides can impede your playing experience. Any Forza Horizon game is a damn good one, but I never met any Arcade racing fan who thinks much of the series. PGR deserves it more. DiRT Rally 2.0 is alright but doesn't add much to the first. A fter playing mostly Forza games for the last few years, I recently purchased Bandai Namco’s Project CARS 2 and 3.Having played both Project CARS games for a while, I was surprised at how different they were from both the Forza games and each other, with Project CARS 2 seeming much more like a traditional simulation racing game and Project CARS 3 feeling considerably more laid-back.
Meanwhile me with 100-200h in FH3 and 100% completion and ~50h in FH2 and ~63% completion after finishing NFS Payback 100% I just can't play Forza anymore because I love Need For Speed's handling. Seriously. I grew up with NFS games and as soon as a buddy of mine introduced me to Forza Motorsport 2, I've never been able to go back.
