Înscris: 14.12.2011. buna ziua, detin un Ford Focus 2- 2007, eroarea din subiect mi-a aparut saptamana trecuta cand am plecat de pe loc intr-o intersectie. am oprit motorul, l-am pornit eroarea a disparut. la fel a facut si dupa doua zile cand eram in viteza a patra, cred, in timp ce acceleram. acelasi lucru, oprit motorul, pornit
It is definitely not normal to lose coolant. And, as far as I have seen, head gaskets are not a common fault on Ford diesels, at least not if the right antifreeze is used. It must be going somewhere. Coolant tank (reservoir) leaks quite common on the Focus. Cardboard under the tank can test for this.
I bought a 05 reg 1.6 tdci this week and when I was driving it home on the motorway a message appeared on the dash saying “engine system fault” and the car seemed to lose a small amount of power. I was stopped at lights so I decided to turn off the engine and turn it back on and the message disap
i have the same problem on y 2007 ford focus, the car will crank but not start, it says engine systems fault, computer cannot read ecu, i have tried everything from testing the ecu, cluster, fuses, relays, reprogramming, coded keys, wiring but the car will not start, the diagnostic machine cannot read the computer on the car, no signal going thru, i was told to scrap the car or sell it as is
I have just had an engine system fault message come up on my screen which can be reset to show the normal information and a permanent red light. Focus 1.6 TDCiI have a Fiesta 1.6 tdci 2006 which has come up with an Engine System Fault and gone into limp mode but not reading any fault codes. Fiesta 1.6S tdci Ford Year Car is a 56 plate Ford Focus TDCi I need to double check (bit of a car numpty), but I think we have the 1.8TDCi (cyclinder capacity is 1753). The Haynes Manual says the 1.6 and 2.0 have a particulate filter, but the 1.8 doesn't.
Hi all, I've been trawling the forums for a while - and now the time has come to seek some help. I have a ford focus 2014 mk3, 1.6 TDCi, I usually drive 100miles a day round trip for work. Recently my car alarm has been going off every couple of hours and I think iI've narrowed it down to a possi
had my ford focus 1.8 tdci 4 month and its my first ford car i have bought and it has up with engine systems failure with a red LED indicator next to the message display unit on the dascome h on the right hand side and gone in to limp mode, had a fault reader on it but didnt pick anything up do to been a faut reader and nothing special.
To prevent most cooling system problems on a Focus MK3 1.0 ECOboost you can basically go 2 different routes: 1: Replace the MK3 degas hose about every 3 Years and inspect it regularly. There is a huge demand for this type of hose (it is out of stock quite often).
